The Maxi Chopper

How it ended.

The original moped

The first edition, still original handlebars. Got changed 5 days later.

Me, behind the chopper, in order to see the hight of the handlebars.

Why does everybody always have a suitcase on the back of their Ford Model A? A Maxi chopper looks great there too!

This is some pictures of my chopper, based on a '71 Puch Maxi P.

Please take note of, there is nothing cut or welded, everything is wrenched off and on, so it can be turned back to stock anytime!

Front fork and rim is off a Suzuki RMX cross moped (dkkr.500,-), new front tire (dkkr.700,-), handlebars was found in a skate shop's custom bike section (dkkr.250,-), rear fender is an old Maxi front fender (spare part), seat is a swap meet find (dkkr.150,-), seat braces is old aluminum curtain holders (junk).
Total build cost: dkkr.2800,- (ca. $550,-).

Movie of me and Jan racing at Mosten Raceway (before the high handlebars):

Functionwise the B-carb on the G28T should work fine, but you'll be able to get more power out of it, if opted to other carbs. :)
